OLIVE OIL

PRODUCTION PHILOSOPHY

Carrube di Caccia, a company in organic farming under the Soil and Health control body. They believe in organic farming and using natural methods to improve soil fertility, preserve the land, the environment and human health. “We are what we eat and our choices should always be addressed towards genuine foods of natural taste”. Organic farming means facing higher costs, banning herbicides and pesticides and, some times, getting lower yield crop per hectar. On the other end it also means less health risks and environmental damage. Carrube di Caccia has joined the association Denominazione di Origine Protetta Val di Mazara which aims to protect the local typical cultivars such as Biancolilla, Nocellara del Belice and Cerasuola. All these varieties are cultivated on their own land.
